The facebook app allows you to take advantage of the social media features on your ticketsocket site. Your system will come with an app pre loaded but you if you would like to install your own. Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to https://developers.facebook.com
2. Click on Apps > Create App
3. Enter Display Name and Category to create app
4. Click on Settings Add app domain and site url. This is your TicketSocket site domain. IE https://yourURL.ticketsocket.com
5. Click Status & Review > Click Yes to activate your app
6. Click App Details and add in fields for all the following under contact info:

  • Privacy Policy URL 
  • Terms of Service URL
  • User Support Email
  • User Support URL

You must add all these fields otherwise Facebook will deactivate your app. See screenshot below:

 


Now your app has been created. You will need to link it to your TicketSocket Site.

1. Login to the TicketSocket admin
2. Click settings > general
3. Enter Facebook app ID from your Facebook app
4. Click Save
