Price change rules can be implemented to automatically change the price of tickets based on time/date or quantity sold.

1. Login to the TicketSocket admin page
2. Click the Events button on the dashboard or Events > Events on the left menu
3. Click on the desired Event
4. Click on the "Ticket Rules" tab of the event
5. Click on the "Add New Rule" button
6. Select your Ticket Type(s) you want to apply the rule to
7. Select the rule type
This can either be a Dated Price Change Rule or Quantity Price Change Rule, which are explained below

Dated Price Change Rule:
Dated price change rules let you select a certain date and time that the tickets change in price and when that rule will end.
If you have multiple dated price change rules, always to make sure to have the succeeding rule start a the same time that the previous rule ends so there is no gap between price change rules.  If there is no rule currently in effect, the price of the ticket will revert to the base price.

8a. Enter in a Price Description of the new rule
This will be displayed on the frontend if you are displaying your price change rules on the event details page.
9a. Enter the new Price that the selected ticket types will change to when the rule has come into effect
10a. Select the date and time the rule takes effect on and select the date and time when the rule will end (Only applicable to Dated Price Change Rules)
11a. Click Create Rule button
12a. Click the Save Button

Quantity Price Change Rule:
Quantity price change rules allow you change the price of ticket types after a certain quantity of tickets have been sold. 

8b. Enter in a Price Description of the new rule
This will be displayed on the frontend if you are displaying your price change rules on the event details page.
9b. Enter the new Price that the selected ticket types will change to when the rule has come into effect
10b. Enter the Quantity (Only applicable to Quantity Price Change Rules)
After this quantity has been sold, the ticket type will change to the price you have entered for the "New Price" field of the Quantity Price Change Rule
11b. Select the Quantity Limit (Only applicable to Quantity Price Change Rules)

• Per Ticket Type - If this is selected, your rule will take effect based on the quantity sold for the selected ticket types
  
• Per Event - If this is selected, your rule will take effect for the selected ticket types based on the total quantity sold across all ticket types in the event

12b. Click Create Rule button
13b. Click the Save Button
