With the Mail Chimp plugin, you can integrate your TicketSocket system with your Mail Chimp account to automatically add the First Name, Last Name, and Email Address to a contact list of your choice from your Mail Chimp account.
- Login to the admin section of your TicketSocket site
- Click Integrations > Marketplace on the left hand menu
- Click on the Mail Chimp text/image
- Turn on the toggle for "Activate MailChimp"
- Enter your API Key and click the Save button
- Select an email list from any current lists in your Mail Chimp account
- Click the Save button
All first names, last names and email addresses from any purchases on the frontend will now be added to the selected list automatically from this point onward
You can also set these lists Per Event. To do this, please see the instructions below.
- Login to the admin section of your TicketSocket site
- Click "Events" on the left hand menu
- Select the event you'd like to set a list for
- Click the "Marketing" tab of the event
- Enter your API Key and click the Save button
You may need to refresh the page for your Mail Chimp lists to show - Select an email list from any current lists in your Mail Chimp account
- Click the Save button
To retrieve your Mail Chimp API Key, please follow the steps below.
- Login to your Mail Chimp account
- Click the Account Name at the top of the left menu
- Click Account Settings
- Click Extras on the top menu
- Click API Keys in the sub menu
- Next to the User, it will list the API Key that is needed for integration with your TicketSocket site
