Setting up a promo code auto-apply URL will allow you to send a link out to customers that will automatically apply a promo code when that link is clicked and they select tickets and proceed to the checkout. 

You must activate this feature on the event. Goto Events > Select Event > Appearance > Include Promo Code field on Event Page turn to ON > Click Save. 

Promo code URL's can be used in a multitude of ways, whether these are direct links to an event, the full event list, an event category or all event categories.  These will be listed below.

1. To link to the full event list and auto apply a promo code, you would need to structure your URL as follows:

https://YourSiteURL.com/code/PROMOCODE

Please note that the "PROMOCODE" text in the URL is an example.  When using your own promo codes please be sure to use the same values that are in the "Code" field for the promo code you would like to auto-apply in place of "PROMOCODE".

2. To link directly to a single event and auto apply a promo code, structure your URL as follows:

https://YourSiteURL.com/event/EVENTURL?promoCodeTask=apply&promoCodeInput=PROMOCODE

In place of "EVENTURL" you would use the values for your event's "Event Url" field.
